Audio Assault is steadily expanding its lineup of amp simulators and pedals centered around the Amp Locker. More high-gain amps and pedals have been added.
guitar-sims.com has already reported on the Fried STEVENS v2 amp and other updates, as well as the two new amps, Burningball and NGL 412XXL. It has also covered Gremleen and ButterSX.
We haven’t mentioned the Carntens Greys amp yet, which was also released not too long ago and is even free. Carntens Greys has a really great sound, and everyone should give it a try. Fortunately, Amp Locker has an IR loader, so you can create your very own sound without having to spend any money.
But of course, there are also paid amps, which are quite affordable.
Well, here are the new amps from the last few days.
The new Amp Sims
- Royal Knight MKIII: Based on the Tone King Royalist MKIII, imagine taking the characteristics of some of the most iconic amplifiers in history and putting them all into a single amp... that's what this amplifier is.
- MCJ900 Modifire: Based on the JCM900 4100 Dual Reverb, this is perhaps one of those amplifiers you either love or hate; there rarely seems to be any middle ground. To avoid this, we took the original amplifier and modified it for our MODFIRE series.
- Black Mamba: 3-channel Amp Sim based on the Framus Cobra V5.
- Uber Blue: 2-Channel Amp Sim based on the Bogner Uberschall Rev Blue.
- Citylight 230: 1-Channel Amp Sim based on a Jet City JCA20H
The new Pedals
- Blues Baker: Based on a 1993 Bluesbreaker, this iconic pedal aims to emulate the classic, warm tone of the Marshall Bluesbreaker amplifier.
- DOC Germanium: Based on the Fulltone Custom Shop OCD Germanium, the DOC Ger differs from its siblings by using germanium diodes instead of MOSFETs.
- Futz: A versatile and weird Fuzz effect.
- Memorial: Monumental stereo tremolo.
