New NAM Player | ChopTones - Nammifier (free)

Published: 28.09.2026

ChopTones is releasing its own free NAM Player, the Nammifier, which includes a complete effects chain.

Nammifier reminds me of Dusty Tube 2, NAM Universal II, and PWC Skin II.

All of them include a NAM Loader for the amp and a pedal, as well as the basic effects: gate, compressor, delay, chorus, and reverb. One plugin has one additional effect, while the other includes a second NAM pedal. You can’t add any other effects; the signal chain is locked to these when you run the plugin in standalone mode.

This is where Nammifier comes in, offering essentially the same features as Dusty Tube 2, NAM Universal II, and PWC Skin II. Ritual 2 Amp Loader by Oracle Sound is also similar, but it lacks effects like chorus and delay.

If you’re looking for a plugin like this, Nammifier gives you another option to choose from.

Could it be more?

Unfortunately, the Tone3000 integration does not include Nammifier.

Saving presets is, of course, possible, but marking NAMs or IRs as favorites or sorting them is not included either. Some guitarists don’t need any of that, but from my perspective, it’s very helpful for keeping track of all the NAMs and IRs you’re testing and trying out.

The other NAM players mentioned include NAMs and IRs, so you can start playing right away. I especially enjoy playing the NAM “FLAME ON” from Ritual 2. Nammifier, on the other hand, offers a paid expansion pack.

A quick overview of what the Nammifier includes
