With ICONS: Fullerton, Fractal Audio released its first Axe-Fx amp models and effects as a plugin and standalone application for the desktop. Now, with ICONS: PASADENA, comes the second release.
ICONS: PASADENA is based on the 5153-style amps and was named after the California city of the same name. PASADENA was developed specifically for hard rock, metal, and modern heavy sounds. This allows you to use the plugin to create a wide range of sounds, from clean tones and fat rhythms to cutting leads and even djent riffs. Fractal Audio describes the sound of PASADENA as “a monster in a suit and tie.”
ICONS: Pasadena includes 19 amp models with everything from pristine cleans to high-gain monsters, plus eight HD DynaCabs™ and 13+ of premium stompbox and studio effects (including tape delay, plate reverb, and much more) – all built using the same algorithms as the Axe-Fx III. There's even a nod to Pasadena's roots, with a 100W Plexi and signature effects for the classic "Brown Sound."
