Oracle Sound’s new amp sim “TYRANT” is a high-gain plugin that combines two switchable amp heads, four reorderable drive pedals, three cabinets, and a complete post-amp effects section into a single interface—a complete rig instead of a plugin chain.
The highlight is the two amp characters accessible with a single switch: SATN (inspired by a modern high-gain tube head) delivers a tight, precise low end and dense saturation—ideal for low tunings and defined rhythm riffs. TRSH (thrash-inspired) focuses on percussive palm mutes, biting mids, and fast riff definition. When switching modes, all controls, pedals, and effects remain in place, allowing you to directly A/B compare both amps on the same riff.
The pedalboard includes four distortion models, each with two modes—for a total of eight drive characters:
