The software offers two permanently integrated IRs:

• The legendary original SPRES (also known as "Catharsis").
• A second, newly developed IR by Ryan Harvey and Antonio D'Aquino.

A blend control allows you to mix between these two IRs.

You cannot load your own impulse response (IR) files.

SPRES is a fully integrated plugin that offers a specific, high-quality impulse response sound (“Catharsis”) with additional sound shaping options such as EQ and mix controls. It is particularly popular with guitarists who need a dense, clear, and assertive heavy guitar sound. The software combines the advantages of an IR loader with the benefits of a tailor-made, sonically optimized plugin - and has established itself as the reference standard for metal guitars in music production.
