Archetype & Manufacturer Series (Plini + Nolly X + Petrucci + Mesa Boogie + Fortin + Soldano + more)
Several software products.
For each Archetype plugin:
- amps and effects from different Archetype plugins cannot be combined freely in a common graphical user interface
- is a self-contained, complete system with a fixed signal processing chain
- was developed in collaboration with a renowned guitarist to faithfully reproduce their signature sound. Examples include Archetype: Nolly, Plini, Tim Henson, Gojira, and John Petrucci
- has a fixed signal chain (the order of the effect blocks cannot be changed)
- has cabinet simulation with IRs: Support for custom impulse responses (IRs), often with two microphone positions
- has artist and factory presets: Many ready-made sounds, including signature presets from artists
- has input and output controls: For level adjustment before and after processing
- has a noisegate: Integrated noise reduction
The differences between the individual Archetypes lie in their sound character, specific effects, and focus on certain genres or playing styles.
Examples:
- Nolly X for versatility
- Plini for clean sounds
- Tim Henson for harmony and experimentation
- Gojira for metal
- Petrucci for a complete all-rounder

Nameless X Suite & Cali Suite & NTS Suite
- digitally reproduce the sound of Fortin's physical amplifiers
- extensive cabinet simulation module with six virtual microphones that can be positioned around the speaker
- supports the import of custom impulse responses (IRs)
- include digital models of the popular Fortin effects GRIND®, ZUUL®, and HEXDRIVE® in the signal chain
- offer flexibility for studio and live use thanks to standalone mode
Nameless X Suite
- Target audience: Modern metal, djent, deathcore (e.g., Meshuggah, Archspire)
- Special feature: Optimized for low tunings and extended-range guitars (such as 8-string guitars)
- New features with the “X” update:
- Delay and reverb as integrated effects
- Transpose function (+12/-12 semitones)
- Doubler for a wider stereo field
- Often described as the tightest and most precise amp for drop tunings
Cali Suite
- Sound character: Versatile, from clear clean to rich crunch and high gain
- Microphone options: Supports various virtual microphones (e.g., SM57, MD421, C414, KM184, R121, M160) with full positioning control
- User interface: Scalable, intuitive, and smooth to use
- Compared to the other suites, less geared towards extreme metal, but still powerful and clear
- Lacking post-FX: No integrated delay or reverb (unlike the Nameless X Suite)
NTS Suite
- Two channels: A brilliant clean channel and a versatile lead channel with frequency-selective gain controls
- Enables transitions from crystal-clear crunch to fat high gain
- Includes GRIND®, ZUUL®, and HEXDRIVE® effects
- No X update yet: Unlike the Nameless X Suite, it lacks integrated delay and reverb effects
- Often considered less common than the Nameless series, but has a loyal fan base
