The Guitar Amp Suite Maine by remi DSP is a little gem among guitar amp simulators. Maine basically has all the effects you need for playing and practicing, and it features a beautiful user interface.

If you prefer a NAM and IR loader that's kept as simple as possible—similar to the original Gateway—but still want Tone3000 integration, you might like Impronta by Caesura.

Soundshed has released another update for Soundshed Guitar—version 1.6.0—which includes a whole host of new features.

Tone3000 now has its own NAM Loader plugin. It's free, and you can use it to design your own signal chain however you like, using all the captures and impulse responses from the Tone3000 website.

ChopTones is releasing its own free NAM Player, the Nammifier, which includes a complete effects chain.

Oracle Sounds has released version 2 of Ritual, the NAM Loader. Two of the key enhancements are the standalone version and A2 compatibility. But there is another important new feature.

Jordan Valeriote, in collaboration with TONE3000, has released the free guitar amp sim NAM Rig. NAM Rig is a Built-in TONE3000 browser that allows you to connect to the TONE3000 library via the TONE3000 API.

NAMMAN is a web client that connects directly to your Tone3000 account to make organizing and downloading NAM models much easier. There is no intermediary database, and no separate account is required to use it; everything runs securely through the official Tone3000 API using OAuth.
